I rigged my model to one of the stock weapons. Everything seemed to be okay until the reload animation.

The hands get stretched out as seen in the video -

How do I fix this?

You rigged a vertex to the wrong bone. Find out which one it is and re rig it to the proper bone.

Model pack 66-99 high quality items...cheap!!

Select the bones one by one and you will find out that one of the vertexes (the little points) will be misplaced. rerig it and this should be fine

They are both ACRs, so of course they're going to look alike.

Also, this model was inspired by the BF3 ACR model.

Yes I know this but they look almost identical. Do you think you could upload a picture of it in a 3d model viewer?

They're not the same. His model has no rails on the top, and the end iron sights are fairly different from each other.

In fact if you look closely, there are a lot of differences particularly at the forward end of the gun.

Ripping anything from Battlefield 3 is incredibly hard to do, if not impossible. (I have it installed and just looked at what'd be done to do it).

I also understand that if he does not re-distribute these *at all*, then technically there's no problem with using ripped assets, as a place holder until you fill the gap with your own/legal assets.
