Script Pack 8 – Dark AI pack 2


Description:


New package of scripts. The script pack contains scripts from simple enemies and allies, to complex game modes. To create this package was applied using Dark AI markers for improved pathfinding to the cue points.

Features:


- Limited ammo
Characters have a limited amount of ammunition. Characters can replenish ammunition at the armory of its base

- Critical wound
The characters are forced to return to base for first-aid to restore health

- Positions of characters
Characters move to their positions depending on their class. Defenders of the base using a defensive position. The attackers used the attack positions and capture the enemy base

The game modes:


- People vs People
Classic mode - Capture the base. The winner is the team that captured the enemy base. You can make mini Battlefield

- People vs Zombies
The objective of the game mode is to survive and reach the end of the level alive. You start the game with his team-mates, and move through the levels, fighting off of hordes of zombies.

- Save VIP-Person
Your objective is to seek and save VIPs. This mode is based on the "People vs Zombies" only in this mode you need to have to protect VIPs

- Survival
You need to get from point A to point B. Moving the level you need to perform different objectives: to open the door, turn on the electricity, etc.

Thank you for your comment. It really looks very dynamic. But adding the enemy of enemies, the FPS drops to 10. I hope that the zombies will have a high FPS.

WOW really nice work but just a few questions. Can the players capture the base? can you have more then one base for something like conquest? Can the dark ai points work outside the game modes?

2) At the moment only one base. More than one base will make the most load on FPSC
3) Yes of course. I for each game mode chosen their own symbols Dark AI markers, not to be confused

I want to work well with a zombie game modes. I think the most fun zombie game is the most interesting

Any way to just make your allies move somewhere based on where you are? IE, move through a trigger, and the entities move to one of the nodes.

Looks impressive anyway! Can't wait for it's release.

LeCTODN, I will be releasing a script pack in parts. will soon begin beta testing

Mini0013xx, The Allies moved on the basis of using the nodes (DarkAI markers). There are some problems with finding a way in some segments (segments of the bunker ww2)

will soon begin beta testing "people vs people." Need to patch 120.18

Known bugs:
1) The characters appear in the air and running around in the air (bug patch 120.18)
2) the character is not dark AI markers in the segments "bunker radio room"
3) are not working to find a way to first aid and munitions to the battle with the enemy

Just played the level and it is really fun! great work! i will edit this post if i find any problems.
I also have a question do i have to edit the default tf341 scripts to work with the points?

For what purpose? You can make yourself own symbols for points and stick to your designations. Do not forget to write down what the point is responsible for what, to avoid confusion in the future. Example: Table 1 from my Guide

Little news

-I am writing a script for a "People vs Zombies" game mode
-The character uses a shotgun. How many times shoot as many times reloaded
- AI decides how much he reload the shotgun, if there's an enemy

Hukuta , bro , is it possible to use these atk and def zones for a standard story driven singleplayer missions. By that I mean no capturing the base or saving the VIP , just for a standard SP game ?

Will these scripts only work with the TF341 characters or will they work with all characters? If they will not, are you planning to make them work with all characters? Awesome work btw!

Susysyay, I chose the TF341 characters, because they have a cool animation. Scripts TF341 should work for other characters. I'll have to edit the animation script for all the characters

Thats what I wanted. I would really love if you make cut down version because your scripts become more useful and universal

bojandurmic, I do not want to improve the "peopole_vs_people" game mode. For FPSС it mode requires a lot of resources. I will emphasis on the game modes for zombies. You can use more bots in your levels without sacrificing performance.

Soon there will be a new demo video.

The sniper script (Bolt Action Rifle) is ready!
Features:
- The character has a gun with 4 bullets in the clip.
- Character reload sniper rifle as often as did the shots.
- The characters need more time to aim. But there is a great chance to hit the target with one shot.
- Character, like everyone else, using my "sound engine." It sounds pretty amazing!

I know you said that in People vs People that the characters were floating, which was a problem with 1.20.18. You also said you weren't going to work on People vs People anymore. Do you at least want to make sure it works - fixing this bug? Plus, will you also make it work with default characters, not just TF341?
