Yup i've been off ill and had a chance to sort out the Banshee website.

We're still waiting on the DNS update because the old web hosts are a lil' bit slower than a lethargic snail on pot, so for now you can access our site here:

http://www.liquid-hosting.com/banshee.

All the downloads are back, smaller than they where before, and with proper install/uninstall routines. The new server can support huge bandwidth but is limited to 300kb/sec streams per IP# because of the large files, it's the only fair way for us to deliver the amount of content on the site.

And still not a pop up or banner advert in site

Our domain name was finally returned to us today! YAY! So we are back at http://www.bansheestudios.com.

Now that's the web page finally sorted, i'll start on sorting out the email server as I still dont have any email at all! When that's done we'll get Transfusion out.

Yup sorry, I put two piccies on the front page recently, i'll take them off tommorow if I get a chance. I sometimes forget about the connectively challenged on the front page because most of my hits enter directly into the depths of the site.

Site loads fast for me. I'm on ADSL, but it loads *fast*-- shouldn't be too painful on 56k unless you've got a bad connection.

Interesting coincidence: Go to MobyGames, search for 'Dark Omen', and look at the first name of the third main programmer.

A very nice %it, indeed.

Um yeah, but considering that the name Andy or Andrew is common as muck it's not actually that unlikely is it

What is unlikely, but ironically true, is that a name which is verbally constructed from two girls names "Anne" and "Drew" and also in abbreviated form "Anne" and "Dee" actually meens "Masculine". Go figure !?

That has to be a million to one shot, or as Terry Pratchett so famously said, "Wizards calculate that million to once chances occur 9 times out of 10". Which if you think about it, is probably statistically true.
