I'm not sure which one I'd rather not have read-- that article, or a detailed account of the methods of torture used by the church in the 1400-1500s. Probaly the latter, but...

Yeah I like programs like that... but I turn away from the screen quite a lot! I watched a film about real executions once, and it left a horrible picture in my head that I couldn't get rid of for about 6 months.

They were indeed pretty nasty. Often in fiction written by less-well-informed authors, they'll mention the axe being quick... oh, no.

Actually, if truth me know, if I hadn't have been a software engineer, I'd (hopefully, pending on success), been a pathologist, so things like that really don't bother me. I can eat raw liver and watch things like that it just doesn't have an affect.

Must be lucky (or warped!!)

This program is nothing special.

Does anyone watch 'Travel Sick' on Bravo with Grub Smith? The latest series started couple of weeks ago and it is pretty gross but oh so funny.

'I can eat raw liver'

I can eat cooked liver and raw meat/fish if it's been prepared properly. It's food. It's dead food.

and watch things like that it just doesn't have an affect.

I think there's a difference between eating some liver and watching a larva crawl up someone's nose.

Well I must admit, that's quite considerate. A lot of other nasty little insects will make you feel every tiny bit of pain they inflict on you.
