Hello,
after playing the gameTeleglitch, i thought i have to make something like that, too!

So first step is the map generator (and basic engine console), made in 2 nights:

Night 1 (start):
(Basic Room / Corridor generation)

There is real nice potential with that map maker.

interesting process for generating the map, can't say I understand however.

I have often wondered how people make these dungeon/maze generators.

Interested to see where this goes.

I wrote in another forum how i did it, step by step. Maybe i'm going to translate it.
It's really not that hard, was my first try on such things!

It is a promising beginning of a nice game. What are your plans for this: Fog of war? Diablo-like camera? Minimap? strafing? online highscore? Physics?

IS that a game, a program, or 3 year old drawing.

Fog of War: Yes, some kind of.
Diablo-Like Camera: Nope.
Minimap: Yes.
Strafing: Allready in there.
Highscore: No.
Physics: No. (just for Gore / Gibs)

Take a look at the game "teleglitch" - inspired me alot.

The importest thing for me is a "crafting" system, where you can combine items to create items or improve weapons to create a better one, combine them with different types of amunation, etc.

I plan a (really hard) 2.5D Topdown Shooter with Crafting System, random generated maps.
Mostly thats it

Thanks, well not really any news.
The last 2 weeks i had a "creative phase" (if you want to call it like that ) where i've thought about the design directions, NPCs and Story, and so on.

But in the next 2 weeks, i think there will be alot updates i can show.
