Im a total noobie at this, but i really want to create a loading bar for my game, i searced the forums and found some posts, but it was too complicated for me :/, can some1 explain to me how to create a loading bar? Thx a MILLION

.. how bout.. lets use boxes... this is a very rough and just put together code, so its just a base to build on.
lets say you need to load 10 files before your game, so that means 10% for each file. this will be a bar that increases when every file is loaded.


i'm not even sure if this code is the best way, just what first came to my mine, hope i could help...

The loading bar on that site just shows a fancy way to say "loading". Doesn't have an actual progress meter. I'm the one who wrote it.

i have 1 problem though, the objects load IN the screen with the bar lol, any idea how to change that

Here is a funtion to draw a loading bar, and print the percent done.

AUTOCAM OFF

That prevents the camera from repositioning itself to a new object creation.

Immediately after loading the object, hide it, then update your progress bar
