Hello!
I have not been on here in ages, and thought I'd give back to the ol' TGC community ;D
Also, my last free model thread kinda... sucked
I'll try to finish all the requests this time

The Rules:
- No Characters
- No Firearms (other weapons like knives allowed)
- No Scenes (Don't ask for a bathroom)
- No vehicles
- You must be ok with me selling this model on turbosquid (Models will still be posted here for free)
- Be realistic

You will get the model in .x and .obj and the texture map(s) in .jpg
You can use the models in commercial games with no limitations, just don't release the model or any modified part of it, please

Have fun!

EDIT:
Some old stuff I've made (High texture sizes because of baked AO):

Is around 480 polys fine?

If so, then I'll begin texturing.

It's not perfect, but here it is! Sorry it took so long to get it finished.

The attached .zip includes the following:
- Model in .obj
- Clean texture in .png
- Grunge texture in .png
- .psd file with all used layers

Enjoy!

What size UVmaps are you using for the textures?

Hm?
I don't have many overlapping uvs if that's what you're asking.
I would have more overlapping but I like to bake AO into the texture.

AJ,

A UVmap or UVWMap is the image file that you paint your texture on after you have unwrapped the model.

so...

Are you using 256x256, 512x512, 1024x1024, 2048x2048, 4096x4096 etc...

Oh, I thought you were talking about the actual UV map itself.
The texture size is 1024x1024

Ah Ok, was just curious. There is a neat method of blending AO and the Diffuse that may work better at lower resolution (512x512, referring to the chair in your first post)

I need a variety of asteroids, planets and suns. They are for display purpose, so no need to spare the polygons. Although I do plan on animating them.

I'll see what I can whip up GregA!
Is it ok if they are somewhat low poly though?
Not like really low poly, but not millions of polys lol.

I make board games, so they will be background elements. Right now I am making a blatant knock off of FLT: Faster Than Life, but doing it with 3d elements instead of sprites.

If you go way back in history you can see some of my prior efforts...
