There is the VB 6 personal learning edition, but it doesn't have a compiler. It's free. You can probably find it on the microsoft site.

The package is called "Visual Basic 6 Working Model", and is the VB 6 IDE + language but without a compiler. I couldn't find it on the Microsoft site, but I got a copy of it with a book I bought. Perhaps that's the only way to get it?

Still, paying €15 for a book is bettern than paying hundreds for the sharp version of VB 6 -- if all you want to do is learn the language.

Btw, just clarifying, but what MicroMan means is that it can compile and test run your program so you can actually see a working version but you can't compile a final exe of the program to distribute. Just so no one misunderstands.

Yeah, what Exeat said.

Downloading it off kazaa makes you a pirate. We will have to let you walk the plank if you're a pirate.
