Do a forum search, so many of these.

None of us are done learning. We are all still learning, learning is a neverending process. The one thing that has a beginning, that doesnt have an end

If you work hard you can write you first mini game in a week or two. I learned on a commodore Vic 20 with nothing but a simple basic book made my first game in a week.

Forget DarkBase for a moment. Go get a cheep (or library) book on basic. Get the fundamentals down. variables, loops, arrays.

Then in DB learn spirits and try your first simple game. If you work hard you can get up and running with something small in less than month.

REMEMBER think small or you will never get anywhere.
