Please post any known DarkBASIC IRC channels that are active. I know that there aren't any official ones and it would be helpful to use this thread as a search point for newb's seeking real time chat.

Yes there is an official one. Try reading in General Talk or just clicking the drop-down menu on any page in the forum and selecting IRC.
