You need Quake installed unless you want to download massive DivX files instead of 3-5mb game recordings.

http://www.planetquake.com/qdq/

It's got Quake Done Quake, Quake done Quicker, Quake Done 100% Quick, and many other fascinating variants. Great side. Speed-running at its best.

anyone else notice that he goes through the lazer bolts at some points?

he's pretty good at the game but still the fact he went rigth throught those bolts raises a question.
though to be honest it's not exactly something amazing just freaky, he has to know the game pretty too to be able to actually know exactly where to jump so he doesn't have to stop... it'd take waaay to much time on your hands to achieve the same.

be thankful you've completed the game but had time for a social life too

If you want to see some true for-knowledge of levels, watch Quake Done Quick... again, just fantastic. Amazingly arranged grenade jumping, bunny hopping, rocket leaping, etc, all arranged to finish the levels in minimum time. Quake Done 100% Quick is just as amazing-- your idea of clearing out a level completely might be carefuly making sure every monster's been nailed, but these manage to rush through the levels with astounding speed still killing all the monsters and getting all the secrets.

1337.

And yes, their social life does come into question.
