I need a cake model and I found a nice one here:

Thing is, I dont know how to use it in FPSC. I know it should be in .X format, so I used blender to export it then used entity workshop, but the model itself turns into a pile of messed up faces and vertices, it's odd

Any help?

Your first problem is that the model has over 500,000 polys. That's way too high for a game entity.
