I'm using my old version 5.0

1. Does anyone know where I can get an x conversion program that will convert LWO v5.0 to x format. I know about D-storm but I don't think their plug in works in v5.0 LW.

2. I know that when you convert to X and load object into DBP you need your textures in the same folder you export the object to. I'm guessing that means image maps. When you convert a LWO to X format does that keep any procdural textures on the object, such as crumple or fractal noise and will it hold the specularty, diffuse ETC... settings?

3. I have the pro version of 3D Canvas and it imports LWO and it exports to X can I use that to convert to X or will I loose everything? I like LW better than 3DC I think you can do more with LW especally in the texturing areas!

Thanks for any advice

Please edit your post and take out the 'other way' as that is illegal and not supported here at TGC.

I can answer your second question.

No.

It exports UVs, and the like. Procedurals aren't image maps. However they can be baked to image maps.
