Intergalactic Pong League is a remake of the classic game of pong.
It features 3 difficulty settings and a 2 player mode.

CONTROLS:
Player 1
A and D or Joystick 1 to move left and right.

Player 2
Cursor Keys to move left and right.

This is the base for a much larger 3D Pong game I am working on with a that will include a career mode, upgrades and a 'Battle Pong' mode with obstacles and powerups.

Intergalactic Pong League ToDo List:
- Better handling of exiting during gameplay when ESC key pressed.
- Pause Screen
- Better Instructions Page

You can download the 0.99b Beta version of the game at the bottom of the next post.

Enjoy!

Oh, pesky, pesky installer, losing my media like that!

Sorry, folks. I have discovered that I also uploaded an older test version of the game. Attached to this reply is the latest version.

Also, Easy and Normal difficulty lasts 5 rounds, while Hard lasts 10.

I tried to run this but it just cycles through the menu backwards even though I'm not pressing anything. Also, it won't accept any mouse, keyboard or joystick input from me.

Hmm...wow, that is extremely weird. It might have something to do with the joystick code. I will upload a version that removes the joystick support. If you could try it out and let me know if that fixes the problem, it would be much appreciated.

Works great now!
You just need a way to determine if a joystick is present to avoid that problem in the future.

I would suggest adding the arrowkeys as an additional control option, but that's just me.

Hi. Sorry for the delay. Was out of town for a while. Derek Darkly, thank you. I have included a joystick detector, as well as an option to redefine your keys. The full release should be available soon after I have worked out a few minor kinks.
