hullo fellow darkbasic forum community members (and guests)!

I'm having a little trouble with .x exporters for 3dsmax. At the moment, i have 3 - pandasoft's one, a microsoft one, and an effectware one.
i'm using 3dsmax 4.0.

the panda one works fine except when i exported my animated dude his shoulders were screwed up. the microsoft one makes 3dsmax crash when i try to export. and i can't get any animation out of the effectware one, and you can see his bones.

my question: does anyone know of any other .x exporters that will work with 3dsmax v4.0? im planning on upgrading it to v4.2 sometime soon...

i noticed that in the about tab on the panda exporter, it says its for 3dsmax v4.2-6.0 ...maybe thats the problem? aside from this screwing up my dudes shoulders problem, the panda exporter is the best (IMO, of course). it would be awesome if it worked 100%.

btw, i tried using microsoft's conv3ds but it produced a worse result than any of the exporters. (i really dont like the idea of converting files... more room for errors in my opinion)

so, if anyone has another .x exporter... plz tell me!

thanx all

try reset xform and then use the latest pandasoft exporter. Pandasof is the way to go.
