Windows / AGK Compiling wrong?

I've recently obtained the AppGameKit software and decided to work out some test programs.

I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong...but every time I compile a simple program to create a background, the lower portion of the image in the window turns completely black.

and when I do not have the "SetVirtualResolution" line, the entire screen is blue...as it zooms in on a small portion of the image.

Use setSpriteSize() to fit the sprite to the window
