im totally new to dark basic and programming and cant make sense of the language so where is the best place to start

id say u should start with the programming principles since your new to programming. dont try to get ahead of ur self. take a step by step and always take a peek at the examples to see how stuff look like.
after you get familiar with how to do small and simple programs, move along to the tutorials.
