Not naughty, just too boring for children. Politicians, politics, policies and such.

But if you are interested in such, there are some solidly put together essays and interesting news for any progressives and intellectuals who may use these boards. Some of the links are a real "shock to the system" as Yes would say.

There's even a link to the entire book George Orwell's 1984!

Like I said boring for kids.

Its 1984 that I'm interested in...

Mirrors are more fun than television. Well, that was fun, in a not-so-fun sort of way...

A McKinsey & Co. study concluded that about 12% of the economy's productivity gains in the second half of the 1990s could be traced to Wal-Mart alone!

Wow, I wasn,t supposed to know this? Is it not me or is there a Wal-mart, Sams Club, or Wal-Mart supercenter in almost every town with a population over 5000. Sam Waltons heirs have gotta be rollin in the money.

I do like the complete 1984 being on there though, i'll have to read it when i get some free time.

News? This stuff is more slanted than Fox. Hilariously innacurate-- sort of like Michael Moore's works of fiction he calls 'documentaries'. Mildly amusing, though . I'm still trying to figure out if 'The American Way' is intentionaly hilarious or not.

He has five children.
Each one has a personal fortune of over 20 billion.
They're all in the top 10 richest men & women.

I'm sorry, but any list featuring an article from the Guardian can instantly be discounted as a useful news source.

Glad someone agrees it's all tripe.

You want an impartial news source, use Google News-- it scans loads of news sources, so it's very easily to find radically right and left wing views on any story.
