i loaded him up and resized him but guess what?!
he looks small but colision detection dosent think so

if using classicDB, scale object is not advised.
Rescale in your 3d package of choice then export.

Why not? Is scale object a performance dog? If that's the case, then that may explain some performance issues I've been having.

not really, unless your scaling an object every loop, its just that db collision doesn't recognise the objects have been scaled so it thinks they are still the size they were before scaling, take indi's advice and use a 3d modelling software to scale it down

Wings is free and loads .3ds files (I presume it will be 3ds). Otherwise try searching for Lithunwrap or a 3d converter.
