Newcomers DBPro Corner / DB PRO Not Working

Hi I just bought DarkBasic Pro and in my hp pc m260n it doesnt work while in my notebook it does for example this code in the view (f5) mode doesnt work:
while this simpler code works:
(yes i installed directx 9) im guessing that is the problem but i dont get it, please let me know

Still doesnt work...the code aint the problem since the code works just fine in darkbasic.
There seems to be a problem with the executer i can see it minimize in the desktop but aint working...if i click on it, it will freeze

perhaps its an update issue.
what DBP patch are you upto.?
what direct x is in your system at the moment.?
have u upgraded your video card drivers lately.?

I didnt updated it tho i tried with the last patch and still didnt work
my direct x at the moment is 9.0b i tried with the one that comes with the cd also
I didnt upgrade my video card but its a: Geforce 4 mx 440 agp enough power to have this kind of problem i think...

How do I update my video card nvidia Geforce 4mx? i went to their webpage but i cant seem to find an update...

If you have direct x 9, use windows updater and there is a section called drivers, download the graphics driver and the sound driver. Thats what I did.
If you can't find windows updater, do a internet search for direct x 9 drivers and you will see a windows update thing. Tell me if it works.

It works now i did what u said ... used the windows updater went to the drivers section and there were 4 available downloads while the first 1 was called NVIDIA update...I downloaded it and now DBPRO works perfect, thanx man! where r u from? let me send u some Argentine Dulce De Leche
