Hi guys I just got the winter deal and one of the things in it is;

Dark Physics - DB Pro Update - 1.05 one of the things in that has Dark Physics Update.

In the instructions/ReadMe.txt it says I need to install the latest PhysX and gives a link;
http://developer.nvidia.com/object/physx_downloads.html#System

What ever was their no longer exists now. So how do I get the latest Physx and will it still work cause I don't have a Nvidia Card?

I found this PhysX-9.14.0702-SystemSoftware.msi at http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx-9.14.0702-driver.html

Is that what I need?

Sorry for the dumb questions but I am installing everything I got from the TGC Bumper Winter Deal and its a little confusing,hope I am doing stuff right.

Yes you need that file if its the latest version. Run it and copy the 1.05 version of physics into darkbasic folder.

@MrValentine;
No I am on Windows 7 Pro,I did see what Windows 8.1 looks like in person and I think I like it more than Windows 7 now. Windows 8 looks so much cleaner and clearer. Man,wish I could afford it

@Bored of the Rings;
So it wont conflict with my ATI Display Drivers correct?
You do mean DarkBasic and not Pro correct? If so like C:\\Darkbasic correct? that\'s where it needs to go?

OK,

DBPro and DBC are two different tools, are you using both?

Then only use DarkPhysics inside the DBPro folder

You posted this on the DBPro Dark Ai and Dark Physics board, although it does not say that however as far as I am aware both are only available With DBPro do if someone here says DarkBasic, they likely mean DBPro...

Good luck, and do get Windows 8 as it appears Windows 10 will be a free update for Windows 8.1 users... Just an online speculation but would seem obvious given all the crap that has been slammed against it... As I understand the lifecycles for official support for Windows Vista and 7 are nearing end soon as well... Even Windows 8.0 has been brought forward, so you should get 8.1 retail/upgrade which is only £85~ $130~ at the moment... It is faster too!

Any way... Have a great night!
