I know I'm in the wrong place, but I couldn't find an official forum and I was wondering if you could help.

I want to know if Pro Motion has actual Sprite Sheet support. I prefer to do what I do with Sprite Sheets and using a combination of Predator and Gimp 2 is becoming cumbersome (not to mention inconvenient ever since Predator Sprite Sheet Editor was removed from the internet entirely and I had to save the downloader to my other drive).
As an animation program, it looks great. However, if it doesn't have Sprite Sheet support I won't get it. Does anyone know?

Man everybody got aids n' $h1t.

Download the trial and see if there are any visible options for that... I remember trying out the trial, and found removing it to be a pain... so just a thought...

Good Luck

Alright, I'll try that.
You seem to be a very active forum member. Could you do me a large favor and see if anyone here knows? I'll look into this and peer through the official book (you know, the blue one that looks like zeus left a handprint on it) to see if it has any valuable info on this, as I recall something being in there on it.

This one. My dad took a semi-official college course on it or something. I don't recall, as this was quite a few years ago.

Yeah, but the options to do "Tile Maps" (which sound close to what I want) are grayed out. I'm not sure if that's what I'm even looking for to begin with. A Tile Map isn't a Sprite Sheet, but if I can arrange the sprites gradually then I'll have what I'm looking for.
I'm really not going to make a decision until I know for sure. I'm not going to drop 50-60 dollars on something that doesn't do what I want it to. The sooner someone comes up with an answer the better.

I am not certain it works in the same way, just have a search on a search engine and look at the images, "Game Tile Maps" or similar... to see if it fits your requirement...

I feel like a moron...
File>save animation. That's it.
Well, sorry about that. Hopefully someone will come across this and get something out of it.
I'm assuming that since this is a trial version I have a limited time until it becomes unusable, so I'll pay for it when that time comes around.
Well, thank you anyways. At least I know how to do it now. This'll be a big help for this thing.

If you save as animation it's not a spritesheet.
On a spritesheet you have all animation poses for a game character
on one page in a grid layout. This you can make with ProMotion.

Example of a Spritesheet:

You got to save it as a Bitmap to do that, and it'll do that automatically.
I know what a spritesheet is, trust me. It does just what I need it to do, and that's all that really matters.

But for don't give wrong information to other people that maybe read this:

if you need a spritesheet, don't save as animation file (gif), you need to save as a AnimStrip (best in PNG format). Both options are under File->Save Animation, what can be a bit misleading.

I work with Pro Motion many years, so trust me.
