These seem to be more anti-war than pro-life. Or is that what you meant by pro-life?

"Yes Neophyte, I believe they are both the same thing."

I see.

Normally pro-life is a reference to being against abortion. Hence the confusion.

Good grief, more political flamebait. Not everyone walks around with matches, but tell me, is it very intelligent to walk around pouring gassoline?

Pro-Life and Anti-War are very different things. On top of that, Anti-War and Anti-Bush are also very different things-- personally, I think anti-Bush (for the typical reasons, at least... I don't support much but his war policy) is basically saying 'We don't give a crap about Iraq, let them all die'.

A very nice %it, indeed.

hehe yep, definately pouring 'petrol' around here. Kinda funny with the thread name 'net peace'. The one thing you can be certain of with anything political or religious is that nobody will agree.

Personaly I can't stand Bush and hold him up as an example of why America should be considered dangerous. I also hate Blair, and hold him up as an example of why Britain is completely dosile - except to itself. I also disagree with the second Gulf War, and hold that up as an example of what the lust for blood can achieve: "Hey, they wear turbans lets bomb them first!".

On the other hand, is the current world order really the fault of Bush, Blair and Bin Laden? Or is the state of the world the result of politicians bowing to public pressure and something that would have happened anyway - who-ever was in charge?

Yes the anti-abortion forces have appropriated the "pro-life" moniker but if you actually examine their political philosophy, "pro-life" is very misleading. The "pro-choice" moniker being for abortion freedom is just as bad. Really, who isn't "pro-choice"?

You do have to admit this music is pretty cool.
Especially Beanie.
I listened to many more "net peace" tunes, and most of them are pretty bad. These are the best of what I've found so far.

ah great more hippie crap. so wat there is a war on, its pretty much over now they catured saddam, if the americans would stop shooting each other the oil companies can move in and they could go home. besides who cares about any of the other countries involved, the Australians are the only smart ones there, we haven't (knock on wood) recieved a casualty yet, and we've done tons of damage to the iraq forces, in other words, most of our population grew up pwnzing op flashpoint and counterstrike noobs, so we have the upper hand in combat christ how can we have peace with people in iraq dancing on bodies of dead soldiers anyway, i don't think they would want peace if they listened to some gh3y phil collins song. and hey i didnt mean to rant so much in this post, it was supposed to finish on my first sentence. bah,

It started back in the Cold War, America would send troops to countries that were being attack by countries that were allied to Russia. We promised them aid and post war support but when the wars ended we left without giving the aid we promised. That's why the mideast hates the US, and that's why we'll contenue to be hated. We (America) were the ones that set the stage for Saddam to come to power. Untill we stop making the same foolish desitions the world will contenue to hate us.
