Is anyone really good with ASCII because I need a bunch of symbols that look kind of like that Matrix code in the movie, and I'd rather not go through EVERY combination...

So I'd be happy if you could help me out, just put down some symbols and the corresponding numbers please.

thnx,

You want me to get a life? Ok, hold on a sec. *picks up the controller and presses Up,Down,Right,A,Left,B,Y* There you go now I have 50!

Huh? Are those symbols part of a standard ASCII set? They look more like a strange font to me.

I'm not real sure, I'm not good with ASCII all I know is that you hold down the Alt key and press numbers on the keypad to produce unique characters, so I was wondering if there were any that kind of look like that falling code from the movie, The Matrix.

I heard that it was Kanjii, but I don't know what that is. It might be a font.

It's not Kanji, but Hirigana. Those are two of the three japanese "Alfabets". There's no way you'll find it in the ASCII chart

Just use your Character Map utility to locate any ASCII symbols... but if it's Jap/Chinese, you're not gonna find it in the standard ASCII chart . Pictographs and entirely different letters... way too much to pack in with the standard letters, numbers, and special symbols.

Your gonna need the font. Those letters aren't part of the ASCII chart. If you don't manage to get the font, go to some japanese site, copy and paste the letters into word, raise the size and take a picture (screenshot).

I suppose that they would be OK. There would be ASCII values for those somewhere.

One thing i heard about the matrix, was that it did use ASCII, but some ( or most) of the characters were inverted vertically or horizontally.

Most of the characters are easily recognisable as part of the japanese character sets. Mabe there is some ascii mixed up in it, but there's no denying it's mostly japanese. I took a look in the DVD yesterday.
