I'm very experinced with Game Maker a 2-D game maker(and 3-D with the help of dlls)witch most of you heard of.Well,i've decided 2 go advanced and learn more about programing espeacialy with 3-D games.I'm decding if 2 go ahead and buy it and learn off of it.Or learn it before I buy.Help me make a decision.

Download the demo version and all any patches and make sure you have dx9.0b and your latest video card drivers - try before you buy!

ahh yes,download the trial version.One problem...I already did a yea ago,and didn't get the chance to use it So i'm stuck with a descion.

why because you can't reinstall? there are *ehem* "ways" to avoid that issue.

Isn't the alienware demo seperate from the old demo? use the aliemware demo and you should get some more time, worth a try.

If that doessn't work there is nothing like a format to get trial progs working again.

I think dbpro is proberly as good a choice as any other if you are prepared to put the time in to learn.

Look its not that much money to buy. I think the enjoyment and challenge of building your own programs is well worth it. As well you get plenty of support and communication, exchange of ideas etc. with all the DBP community while learning it, what more could you ask for.
