Newcomers DBPro Corner / Loop sound always crackles

hi,

when i make as sound loop if a variable = 1 it crackles, wheres if you just play the sound once, such as on a key press it sounds normal, anyone any ideas of why it does this?

its because everytime db reads through a program and loops, it restarts the sound if the variable is = to 1. heres a solution that should work. first if the variable is = 1, tell db to play the sound and if the sound is playing then tell db to loop.

it might be the way the sound begins and ends. if it end loud but starts soft, the speaker cone will "pop" during the transition. To fix you could use some sound editing software to ramp up the sound at the very begining, and ramp down at the end. this way the speaker cone will be at the same place during the transition (no popping). I've done this when working on a telophony system a few years back!
