Hello Mr love, you tried to enter the setup.ini and change the number lightmap quality = line to 80 or 90?

Increasing lightmapping quality (values beyond 64 are not recommended at all ) will change nothing apart more accurate shadows and better transitions between lit areas and unlit ones. Because this is how FPSC handles lighting : per-polygon, not per-pixel.

Shaders can somehow reduce ( not getting rid of it ) the issue but not always. Another solution is to smooth your mesh properly with a modeling tool, but it will not work out perfectly, because FPSC uses per-polygon based lightmapping.

That was my first guess. I'm no pro, but I remember this is what my models looked like before I learned how to use smoothing in MilkShape.

Also, try setting it to dynamic and see if it improves.

Brian.

Set "lightmapboost" in setup.ini to 10. It's gonna work.

I will see if I can smooth it in fragmotion without adding alot of horrible polygons(!) BTW I dont use max, I always use Cinema 4D.
Its strange, the car looks perfect as dynamic object...
