Hi Mauro5002

You need Dark Basic Pro and the Dark Lights / Dark AI modules to compile the source code. Once you've installed DBPro you need to activate Dark Lights / AI then you will be able to compile the source.

I purchased the Dark Game Studio Bonanza which contains everything you need plus loads more and actually works out cheaper than buying them all separately.

You will need to update DBPro to the latest v7.7 if you want to use the latest versions of the source:
https://forum.thegamecreators.com/outbound?url=http%3A%2F%2Ffiles.thegamecreators.com%2Fdarkbasicprofessional%2Fupgrade%2Fdbpro_upgrade_7_7_RC7.zip

I think you also need the DBPro v7.5 extras but you should go ahead and download them anyway:

You will also want to check out the Google Code repository which has all the latest source releases:

Hello Nomad Soul, many thanks for your answer. Then it's more convenient buy Dark Game Studio Bonanza so I will do it, but before that, I have another question The source code is like the lenguaje C++ or another lenguaje?

The source code is written in Dark Basic. This link might be of use:

Thanks for your help Nomad Soul, I will start to make my mod now, I hope that the things I want to do were not be very difficult which are: Static Lights can be turned off and on, more performance during the game that I think can be done making the engine "erase" the polygons that are not showing or are not viewed for the player and create a new way to save and load the game. Thanks again for your help!
