Newcomers DBPro Corner / Tiny Dot Particle Effects. What's Wrong?

My Particle Effects used to appear as big pretty glowing orbs, but now they are only little dots. What's going on?

Uh, code please, were unlikely to know anything unless we know what you're doing. My suggestion is turn off the particles sensitivity to ambient light (if you're using ghosted, textured planes).

set object ambient objNum,0

It's just a particle effect...?
Nothing Else Just a Particle Effect.

This is all of it:

Load Image "particle.bmp",1
make particles 1,...etc.
