Hi all,

Just wondering about this....all objects are referenced in DBPro by number. Do these numbers have to be incremented for each object, or only for each type of object (3d objects, images, textures)?

For example....

make object sphere 1, 5.0, 10, 10
make object sphere 2, 5.0, 10, 10
make object cube 3, 5.0
make object cube 4, 5.0

...or can you do it like this?

make object sphere 1, 5.0, 10, 10
make object sphere 2, 5.0, 10, 10
make object cube 1, 5.0
make object cube 2, 5.0

lol try it and see...............

no....the object number is unique to the object, if you have an object one then it`s a sphere or pan dimensional space goat or whatever you made it, there can be only one per number (or how could you tell em apart???), however you CAN have sound 1,image 1,animation 1 all in the same code, they have the same number but they are unrelated (the sound commands only see sound objects, picture commands only see picture objects).

Thanks....I was wondering about that, because with the objects, its as you say, but when I used the same number for a music object, it worked fine. Thanks for clearing that up
