Ok so I have two main tiring issues here:

1) How to make an entity rotate using script? I tried to rotate a crate entity and a character entity from Sci-Fi package that comes with FPSC using EVERY COMMAND I saw in the manual and the syntax list and this includes: "entrotatex/y/z=" ,"rotatex/y/z=" ,"offsetanglex/y/z=" ,"rotateix/y/z=" (I know this works for Y axis only but I just gave it a try) ... ALL of those didn't work at all. I would like to know what I am missing here ,and also what each command of those EXACTLY do because the syntax list is not very purposeful about it.

2) How to make an entity transparent? Okay, I used the instruction ":state=0:setalphafade=20,state=1" to make an entity transparent but of course it didn't work. I tried it with the same crate entity from the Sci-Fi pack. I tried to remove the shader effect from the "effect" property in the properties panel and that's what I got:

I realised that the transparency doesn't work with entities that NEED shaders (don't know if it is the case with all the shaders) , so the question is still here: What if I want to make an entity THAT USES SHADER EFFECT
transparent GIVING THAT THE ENTITY WOULDN'T APPEAR NORMAL WITHOUT THAT SHADER EFFECT?

Thank you and any help would be appreciated

With the rotatey command you can rotate the objects.

Example:

scancodekeypressed=32:rotatey=-4
scancodekeypressed=31:rotatey=4

For transparency there is a shader called cubeent. And then you put the value of transparency in the configuration.

1) It still doesn't work .. The entity is dynamic (Static Mode set to No) , Physics is on and IsImmobile is also set to "No" but still it doesn't rotate ...

2) So some shaders like "bumpent.fx" don't allow changing transparency using "setalphafade=x" instruction?

@ KingMassen Here's a script to set transparency. Tested and works.
Make sure entity is dynamic. "cubeent" shader works best.
But no shader also works. Adjust "fade" value to meet your needs.
My games never have bugs. They just develop random features..
Lots and lots of random features...

But Cubeent.fx makes some entities blue ... anyway, I can see that the shader is the issue ,thanks

Still the problem for the rotation ... I can't perform rotation for entities ...

The configuration of the entity must be as always active so that you can do the rotation.

Okay .. it worked for character entities but what if I want to rotate an entity which is NOT a character? There's still a problem here ... I think ncmako told me something about rigging? Should the entity have a skeleton attached to it? ....

... Also, I can rotate the entity around Y-axis ONLY , not X or Z

Yeah, it was successful for me but rotation doesn't work for all entities and only works with Y-axis rotation ,that is the only problem now ....

I mean what is the purpose of a 'game engine' if you can't do something basic like rotating ANY entity FREELY IN ALL DIRECTIONS?

There are these scripts, but apparently they do not work at the moment.
Entrotatey =
Entrotatez =
Entrotatex =
