I've just started to make a game with an animated character, it's the first time i have used an animated object as a main character as i ususally make puzzle games with static pieces,Now the problem, i have made the objects required and turned them to .X HOWEVER when i run the program the object isn't there!!! whats gone wrong?? can anyone help?? e-mail me or something i am desperate here.

What did you animate the character in? Cinema4D doesn't work, 3ds Max only works if you use physique and I'm not sure about any others. Usually they disappear if you start playing an animation with bad animation data so I'm pretty sure this is the problem.

Just for paranoia's sake, trying increasing and decreasing the scale to see if the model is too small or is so large that you're inside of it.

Well it's not the scaling i have tried that however the 3d software may be the right solution... maybe

Take out the animation stuff, and see if you can see the object.
