Hi I can see there are players for iOS Mac android windows etc.

I can see how to create stand alone project files for android and iOS..

What about windows - can I generate a stand alone exe file that doesn't need the player app as such.. Same with Mac

Hi Dundarack,

The Windows player comes with the main AppGameKit software. You just run it like any other exe.

It would still be nice to be able to compile a seperate exe for your game, rather than a player, with seperate byte-code. Should be a simple thing to append the byte-code to the end of the player exe, and read it from there instead of from a seperate file?

Agreed. Single exe would be nice.

Yeap single exe is what I was meaning - thanks for the replies anyway!

Would be nice to add to future Mac and windows platforms - option to compile a single exe / app

Thanks.

Singe exe and all media encrypted and built into the one exe would be nice too - maybe something TGC is aware of and yet to come for us...

this would stop copying our own personal art work/music/sounds - which is very easy to get to once installed, change them and voila - not really ours anymore!!!.

why sell a game at £10.99 say when the artwork etc can be changed once its installed on a pc.

Need to spend a little more time to protect our apps.

Reason I asked is I also used GLBasic which does do this i.e. Compile player plus bytecode as one exe - media data remains in folders.
