OK, I've never seen this, I've asked nearly 40-50 people today and only ONE has said they'd heard of it...

What car has the following...

A top-speed of 380mph
A fuel consumption of 28mpg
A 645hp engine
And allows 4 passengers

And it's NOT "ANY" type of racing car...?

I'll reveal the answer after 20 replies...

Might have to take out another morgage on the house... actually, would probably be better off selling the house completely.

I love how you can just see what the guys who made it were thinking:

GUY 1 : OK, we're gonna make a flying car
GUY 2 : Right. Shall we research a new propulsion system?
GUY 1 : Nah, let's just slap four jet engines on the side of it.

Genius.

The price should start coming down as parts get cheaper. When I'm a millionaire I'll get one. I'll rob banks with it to pay it back.

I read he's not allowed the fly it without a safety wire, is that still true?

The 'car' takes off vertically, the only other vehicle to do that with jet engines is the harrier jump jet which uses a completely different system. I'd say it's innovative.

Don't know about the safety wire now to be honest, I think that was during it's testing phase.

I've not heard of anyone with one yet, I guess only time, and of course before someone else fetches one out too..

I'd like to know how road/sky rules will work. Of course we can't paint lines in the air, it would be interesting to see how the government's overcome the problem.

I would imagine a pilots licence is a must, plus there would have to be some designated 'landing'/parking areas. Really exciting though, if they become cheaper, more popular etc, then they'll become mainstream.

It'll be just like the early 1900's when Cars were invented...! Cool...!

I'm actually wondering more about in-air flight, ie, if they do become mainstream then it would be crazy up there.

Only if you fly over military bases and you dont add defensive weapony to the car. Mind you, if you add defensive stuff, you might as well add offensive stuff...

I want to know...

What happens when you run out of fuel in mid air! It doesn't look like it could glide down!

It's a nice shape! Why hasn't anyone made a game about it yet?

I saw it a loooong time ago!

Pincho.
