Varies a lot, like, if I'm programming something in VB then I'll use that almost everyday while at the moment I'm not so I haven't opened it in about a month. Likewise for DBP.

The only programs that are constantly being used for me are:

Outlook Express, IE, Notepad, Paint Shop Pro, and Winamp.

Mine are:

Laplink FTP
DBPro
MS word
Visual Interdev
Visual Basic
Flash Standalone player

Altough I accidentally deleted the list a few weeks ago so it never got back to its full glory of:

VB
DB

Oddly enought, ie / outlook etc aren't on mine. Maybe XP doesn't count then when you quick launch.
FTP

1) Visual Basic 6 / Delphi 7
2) Mozilla / Mozilla Mail
3) iTunes
4) BlueIDE (DarkBASIC)
5) Visual C++ 6.0

Surprised that so many are still using IE here, a few of you might want to check out the latest release of Mozilla (1.5) - it rocks!

Found that Mozilla does seem to have trouble with the Text buttons on this site - with IE you can highlight text, press the required button and it will fill in the i and /i bits at the same time. This doesn't work with Mozilla.

In addition, you cant scroll up or down when in this text box, unlike IE, which can be very annoying.

Well, with the C64, I used various PD Assemblers, Simon's Basic (if I wanted a laugh) and a C program that was actually interpreted...
For music I used various free interrupt driven players.

With the Acorn A3010/RiscPC, I used a free assembler (cant remember the name now unfortunately, by a Swedish guy I think - a very fine assembler anyway), and !StrongArm occasionally (its a free text editor).
Again for music I used anything free

On the Amiga I brought C (never used it as it was all command-line driven), and Blitz Basic (very buggy it was too).
For Walker the morphing title bit was done using Deuluxe Paint 3

Well, its the demo game scene, where talented coders made graphical games showing off their skills along with bangin' music, hoping to get rich when a commerical company see's what they've done...

They're all hiding in the 20 liners board .

It's a good place to find little tech demos and simple games, but I know what you mean - I miss the demo scene too. Once DBPro gets a way to display the playback volume we'll be able to do cool demos - or people could use VSD Tracker...

oki, the one i suppose i use the most are

Media Player / iTunes (Windows / Mac)
Internet Explorer / Safari (Windows / Mac)
3D Studio Max
Photoshop

however i use these almost daily as well

^_^ Mozilla is nice, but IE has the best CSS setup... and it also uses layers. It's the only Browser i know which will show a website exactly how it was designed no matter what it was originally designed for.
And it's Java speeds are far far greater than anyone else's, as everyone moves to 64bit this'll become painfull obvious
not to mention it is nice to look at

i use Firebird quite a bit though, it's a nice browser. some features that IE should have but doesn't. ^_^
