Does the area have some sort of "hand rail" around it? If so you can prevent the player from
"jumping" in that area only using the "jumpkey" command in a trigger.
JUMPKEY=X
Description: This defines whether the jump key is used.
Range: X = 0 – Jump key is not used.
X = 1 – Jump key is used.
Example: :state=1:jumpkey=0
The player can still move, just not jump.
