I realize that the head on the second pic looks too big, but other than that what do you think. I'm I inprooving at all or are they still too disproportioned? Also do you guy like the style I'm going for? Thanks for putting up with me pimping my art.

They are quite good. I know that Manga art doesn't always show the nose in detail, but you should at least define the nose with lighting or something. The first picture almost has a nose, but the shadow is wrong, and the second picture has no shadow or anything. Pretty good anyway.

Yeah I got lazy one the last one, not a whole lot of shading needed really, cloudy days rarely cast strong shadows. As for the nose, I felt that these two pics could due without, it just looks better in my opinion.

The no-nose can be considered part of your style.

The only thing I find strange is the top of their heads.
It's flat, with hair on it. You need to consider that the
top of the head is round. It's a very easy mistake to make.

The pic above is that of a girl with very short hair. It
demonstrates what I'm trying to say. That's a drawing I made about
3-4 years ago. There are some mistakes on it because I was at an
earlier stage of learning.

I like the way you drew the hands. I can't draw hands.
[edit]Now that I think of it, you have just read my first shameless self promotion!
this is also an example, though it's not anime style:
