This is a simple example I created a while ago, it still works for me so I hope it does for you.
`this program create a one sided 3D triangle using a memblock

`create a texture for the object
`required for the MAKE OBJECT command
create bitmap 1, 1, 1
set current bitmap 1
ink rgb(250,0,0),0
line 0,0,1,1
get image 1, 0, 0, 1, 1
set current bitmap 0
delete bitmap 1
`create a memblock for the object
make memblock 1, 108 :`create memblock of correct size
write memblock dword 1, 0, 274 :`write FVF to memblock - I remember the default 338 not working for some reason
write memblock dword 1, 4, 32 :`write FVF size to memblock - this is the number of bytes required per polygon - 32 bytes
write memblock dword 1, 8, 3 :`write number of vertices to memblock - each polygon will have three vertices
`first vertex
write memblock float 1, 12, 0 :`x coordinate
write memblock float 1, 16, 0 :`y coordinate
write memblock float 1, 20, 0 :`z coordinate
write memblock float 1, 24, 0 :`x nomal
write memblock float 1, 28, 0 :`y normal
write memblock float 1, 32, -1 :`z normal
write memblock float 1, 36, 0 :`u texture coordinate
write memblock float 1, 40, 0 :`z texture coordinate
`second vertex
write memblock float 1, 44, 10 :`x coordinate
write memblock float 1, 48, 10 :`y coordinate
write memblock float 1, 52, 0 :`z coordinate
write memblock float 1, 56, 0 :`x nomal
write memblock float 1, 60, 0 :`y normal
write memblock float 1, 64, -1 :`z normal
write memblock float 1, 68, 0 :`u texture coordinate
write memblock float 1, 72, 0 :`z texture coordinate
`third vertex
write memblock float 1, 76, 20 :`x coordinate
write memblock float 1, 80, 0 :`y coordinate
write memblock float 1, 84, 0 :`z coordinate
write memblock float 1, 88, 0 :`x nomal
write memblock float 1, 92, 0 :`y normal
write memblock float 1, 96, -1 :`z normal
write memblock float 1, 100, 0 :`u texture coordinate
write memblock float 1, 104, 0 :`z texture coordinate
`make a mesh and then a object (which is where the texture comes in)
make mesh from memblock 1,1
make object 1, 1, 1
delete mesh 1
`position and point camera
position camera 0,0,-50
point camera 0,0,0
do
turn object left 1, 1
sync
loop
The code creates a triangle rather than a rectangular plain. It doesn't have any uv coordinates but it does show all the information required and where it goes in the memblock to make a single polygon. Unfortunately I don't have any other examples but this aught to be enough to get you started.
