Update 17/08/2017 - Just added a LINUX version

My first game created using AppGameKit Woo!, bought it a little over 2 months ago and this is my first of what I hope is many.

This is more of a proof of concept for a larger zelda-esque Atari style game I have been wanting to make and with shaders to make thinks nice a retro I think I can do it now.

It's a free download\game and can be downloaded from my itch.io page .

Big thank you to nz0 for his packing tool so you cant steal my awesome graphics.
Big thank you to jack for his scanline\warping shader that i modified for this project.

Hi Supertino,

Great little game! Love the 80s retro feel. Initially it felt too hard but I soon got into the game play. I really like how you made it look so old and 80s.

Could you post it into the AppGameKit Showcase?

Thanks RickV, it took a while to bed in with AppGameKit (I am used to more OOP) but the trade off is some powerful stuff built right in such as shaders, physics, tweening and steam.

Thanks all - I just put up a Linux version if that's your thing, I am not a Linux person but I think it's all correct, compiled on Ubuntu LTS in a VMware sandbox, 32 and 64 bit players included. Only issue I had was making the custom icons stay, lots of terminal stuff about it so i might look at that another time.

Very Nice! A twist on the old Berzerk Game. Congrats on the release.

I'll be downloading this again and paying a couple of bucks.

Yah, this looks really cool. Has an Intellivision vibe to me. Which I love.

Ok, this game is a lot of fun. Freaking hard. The electric walls. grrrrr. Supertino - Any chance of including a cfg file so one could remap keys?

DITTO!

This is awesome retro fun.

It took me 4 attempts just to get a 16 kill game, so super hard.

I like the e-book style of your manual too.

Well Done!
