How can i setup gradually increasing the volume when i going closer to the entity like fan or fire and decreasing when i am going out of the entity

Tomik18 The "fire & steam" decals in the generic folder have sound that adjusts to distance.
They use the repeatsound.fpi script in the "appear" slot. It works fairly well.
But if you need more control, a script that uses "player distance" would be best.
There are some scripts already made, do a search for some.
My games never have bugs. They just develop random features..
Lots and lots of random features...

I had answered a question similar to this where a user wanted more control of how entities scaled sounds, unfortunately I cannot find the post as I did not create it. (It had to be within the year?or two)
Anyways the answer is out there...somewhere, I will continue to search and if I cant find it I will search for the script I made.
