As per the title, here's my map generator for this game.
I think this will translate perfectly to VR, which is my aim.

The scene is 100% proceduraly generated from a repeatable seed.

Reminds me of Q, if I am remembering the name correctly.

Q-bert I had to google to jog my memory.

That was quick! No, although I'm not sure what Q is/was.

Reminds me of Sentinel on the good old C64 which I played it on. Very good start to the project, looks great.

[EDIT] - I guess that's why you said old people
The Amiga and Amos were great!

I'm old enough, but alas, I'd never played it. But from what I gather it seems like a perfect fit for VR! (Incidently, I'm also working on a VR remake, of the game Astrotit.)

I played a bit around with the color theme, see attached!

Nice! I think there's the opportunity for some interesting landscapes. It will be quite important to get a good ominous feel to the scenes, as the game was pretty scary.
The game was only restricted at 10,000 levels so that people could imagine actually getting to the end. Of course, there's no actual need for it to have an end at all

The robo-recall style teleport is exactly the same way you got about in the original game, although it will need to be made harder for VR, as you will be able to jump around really quickly compared to the original. Astrotit? [Googles...] The "adult" game? hahaha
