Hi peeps i was just wondering how exactly can u set a jpeg file as the background as i soon found out today that the bitmap way wont work for jpg's any help is apreciated thanks!

You can use a textured sky sphere, sky box or a plane.

Chris, its "texture backdrop" and that command won't work in dbp anymore, he couldn't really use paste image either if he's working in 3d

it comes up as command obsolete
