i was wondering how i could make the texture of this 2d character invisible, (it's on a plain 2d board)

If it's just a plain bill-board entity. Open the texture with whatever you use, make sure
that the parts you want transparent truly "black" ( slightly black/grey wont do it )
Then in the entities "property settings" change the "transparency" setting to one of
these and test.

Note: .dds .tga & .png textures seem to work best.
My games never have bugs. They just develop random features..
Lots and lots of random features...

note: It doesn't seem to be working... unless i'm doing it wrong?
