can anyone point me in the right direction for a tool that can do this (preferably online)

blitzbasic b3d can be converted to .X using Fragmotion, it's free. There are other tools out there too I would have thought. Failing that, I wrote a tool to convert DBO to ASCII .X format so I could edit specifc stuff, so sure I could do a small converter to do b3d to .X.

I still have the original Blitz3D basic, haven't used that in years not since the days of AMOS. Anyway, I have also downloaded the open source blitz3d so should give me insight as to the format of b3d. I'll see what I can come up with. Do you have an example .b3d file you could attach. If not, no problem.

You should use fragmotion so you can rotate the animated model. B3d faces opposite direction of .x. Glad to see someone making use of one of my models. Would love to see pics of what it looks like in game.

worked ok for me in Fragmotion. version 1.3.5 is now out at fragmosoft.com
