I was thinking if Driving Test is in the lead how much did they
make in sails. My school uses the program.
If they sold like 1 million copyes. dont they git some % out of
every one they sale. If they got one$ out of every one theyed have like one million$. What I rilly wont to know is how much do you
git out of every sold game???

Any sales information is usually only an approximation.

Or company confidential.

We made enough sails [sic] to build a ship

Cheers,

Depends on the size of boat - you've got from those paddle and rowing boats up to aircraft carriers and cruise ships... And thats not including stealth gunboats (if the Americans are still thinking about doing them).

I'd imagine sales are pretty good. In Croydon yesterday I saw it everywhere, often in the Top 10 software chart displays they have in places such as Woolies.

I vote that TGC should use that extra money to hire someone to help work on debugging DarkBASIC Pro.

Ships vary from canoos to gunboats to modern space shuttles, but I'm sure Rich means a fairly respectible ship (minus the gunnery turrets .)

No it would have to be a ship with sails, and by ship you are not talking boat or yacht, therefor, we're talking the realms of a galleon, merchantman or caravel. Perhaps a little pinnace or sloop at the smallest i'd really call a ship.

To build a sailing ship of that ilk now would be several million, to build and run a ship of that calibre, well we're talking lottery grant money.

Personally I can't stand the things, I went out on my Dad's yacht a few years a go and have avoided the sea ever since. I can barely grasp C++, so i'm hardly going to cope with the sea.

God created the world in 7 days, but we're still waiting for the patch.

get it????
sails = on a boat
sales = cash made from selling the things
we made enough sails to make a ship
sails sails sails sails
not sales, but sails
we made enough sales to make a ship, would be how your thinking about it, yet, he said: we made enough sails to make a ship, sails! ship! get it?

sorry i repeated myself so much, but i wanted those who didnt get the joke, to get it....
