I took a several year break from game design and modeling. Well recently it's sparked my interest again. I've created a few new models, just looking to get some advice, reviews, and thoughts on them. They are fairly simple, as I didn't want to jump back in and do something extravagant.

What do you think?

Very impressive texturing! On the coffee table, I suggest reducing the height of the bottom stretchers, from the bottom up - the bottom shelf height is fine. On the picture frame, I would reduce the width to height ratio.

Thanks for the feedback Jeff! I can definitely work on some of your suggestions. Actually the stretchers on the bottom of the coffee table are like that because it is an "almost" exact replica of the one in my living room. Only difference is mine has drawers on it. Unfortunately, I had the entire model completed and textured before I realized I missed the drawers!

I will also fix the picture frame to a more rectangle look.

Working on a rocking chair right now. It's modeled and about 1/3 textured. Texture definitely needs some work. I've uploaded an image of it almost done. Obviously the legs on the bottom need to be done and the bars going across. I am also thinking about decreasing the width of the rocking legs and increasing the height of them.

Rocking chair is mostly done. Also animated it to move back and forth.

Nice rustic look. The bottom rocking rails would likely need much more vertical thickness in the real world. You actually have a choice as to how to texture them if thickened. In very old chairs the rails are cut to shape, and the grain is fairly straight and parallel to the floor. Late 1800's and onward the rails are usually steam- bent and the grain follows the curve of the piece.

I have updated the legs a tad bit. I made them thinner and increased the vertical thickness. Also updated the animation as I noticed when it rocked back it was going through the floor. I have many more models I would like to complete. I'm looking to complete an entire pack and sell it on The Game Creators store as well as the Unity Asset store. This pack will be Resident Evil 7 like as that is where I got the inspiration for this. More models to come and some I have completed are:

Currently working on this old water pump. Model is done, but texturing could take a while.
