Well this year 2003 is rolling to a close, and i was wondering "what do you guys think are the best and worst things of 2003?".

Heres my selections:

Best Fighting game: Virtua Fighter 4, just overall great crisp graphics, and some kickass gameplay. (I woulda said DOA2 Hardcore, cause i just barely got it, but that came out about a year an a half ago)

Best Adventure game: Zelda: Wind waker, name says it all.

Best RPG: Star Wars: KOTOR, maybe i am a sucker for anything star wars, but i thought this was one fun ass game.

Best sports or Extreme Sports: SSX 3, nuthin like performing some insane snowboarding tricks.

Best 3rd person Shooter: Max Payne 2, Bullet time and the intriguing twisty storyline is what drew me to the first game, and they stayed true with the second one.

Best FPS: Rainbow Six 3, hehe take out terrisosts save hostages, and Ding Chavez, what more could you want.

Best strategy: for me, it is a tie between Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, and Warcraft 3: frozen throne. Both had they're fun gameplay, and unique aspects, and i just couldn't decide between the 2.

Best Horror movie type game: Silent Hill 3, name says it all.

Best online FPS: Counter-Strike 1.6, the addition of the Sheild for the CT's just made me oh so happy, i still stay up all night sometimes playing at a friends house.

Best Online RPG: Final Fantasy XI, fun but expensive, so the few who can afford to play it, know this is a Intensive RPG.

Game i got quezzy while play most: ManHunt, its new, but some scenes were enough to make a me (an avid SH3 player) sick. Suprised the censors let half the mamed bodies through.

Biggest Disapointment: another tie, Devil May Cry 2 and the Half-Life 2 Delay. DMC2 had me crying, and the devil laughing at how Capcom can turn such a good game into, well, Sh*t. Then HL2 being delayed for oh so many months.... ugh.

Best Game overall: Max Payne 2

Worst Game Overall: Drake of the 99 Dragons... Stay away, do not approach, the game will make you cry in pain, becuase of its sh*tty game play and 32bit graphics, not worthy of the XBOX. I was so glad Game stores still have return policys.

Most anticipated 2004 game: 100 Bullets, form being a fan of the comic, now knowing there is a game coming out, i just can't f'n wait.

post your selections..

If i ain't here, i'm probably playing DOA2 Hardcore on the PS2

Gotta agree with MP2, that game rocks. Although sadly very short compared to the first game that lasted me a good week or two.

I liked everything about it (except the last battle spoiler/strategy
)

It's funny, cause i have a freind who played the second one and then the first one, he siad the first one was shorter then the second one. I'm guessing they feel shorter cause we got used to game play.
