It was released on Big Fish games in September.
And it uses very much AppGameKit function: 2d, 3d, 2dSkeletons, Shaders, Particles, Video etc..

I liked it very much. It would be interesting to let us know some more details about your game. Is it Tier 2 or 1? How did you make all these nice graphics etc...

Thank you all guys!

Of course, it was made in Tier 2.
The project contains 244 .cpp and .h files. And the code weighs about 2Mb. So this contains tons of information.
Most of the interactive game objects were made in 3Ds max. Characters are made and decorated in Z-Brush.
The main menu, map, and levels are drawn in Photoshop with the help of Wacom Intuos 4m. This is what I spent most of my time on. Since childhood, I have been drawing more or less, but by doing this game I learned to draw better than before.
You can watch my early (not very professional) games made with Dark GDK:
https://www.bigfishgames.com/games/5929/veronica-and-the-book-of-dreams/ (2010)
https://www.bigfishgames.com/games/7553/sweet-kingdom-enchanted-princess/ (2013)
and compare graphics with my last game. Graphics in my previous games was kind of Matte Painting and I didn't draw them by hand.
I always spend most of my time making graphics to make it best I can. And I redraw everything many times...

The music was made by my brother, who has long been trying to become a composer ...

Super nice work. Looks like a good amount of detail went into the gameplay and it definitely looks superb graphically. Usually a game like this is made by a small team of at least 2 to 3 people so having done it all yourself except for the music is a big accomplishment.

Yeah I get it about the graphics. My current game is at 128x90 ultra low resolution and even with simple visuals I seem to continually tweak things here and there each week. I enjoy it and hate it at same time. I like making it look better but sometimes feel like I am wasting time that I should spend on other things. But it all works out in the end.

Wish you the best of success!

Thanks, GarBenjamin!

My little advice to you is to take some professional picture (from some game) and copy colors from it. Also, you can even try to copy those style.

Good luck!

LOL! Thanks. I have been looking at great graphics for decades and studying colors for a long time. I put a huge amount of importance on colors. But I am just not wired to ever be a fantastic artist. Have improved a lot over the years but only through thousands and thousands of hours of study and work experimenting. I am happy with the visuals in my current game. Very simple and clean and even these took multiple iterations to get to where they are now.

Thanks though I definitely understand what you are saying. It just doesn't come easy or natural to me or I would be a pro artist by now because been working on it for decades.
