Thank you, ncmako. This sky use 2 layers of clouds with different rotation speeds. That makes the parallax illusion. The sky from video 1 requires Black Ice Mod (in this case, but it can be made without it other way), and the sky from video 2 can be done on regular FPSC, without any mod.

What do you think guys, would you use the new dynamic sky and what themes do you prefer (day, night, sci-fi, underwater)? I know we have DooM fans here

Thanks, uzi idiot. The sky from video 1 use fx for layer 1 and animation for layer 2. It's smooth and you can control the speed (you can also use "spinrate" for the layer 2, but it's too fast). The sky from video 2 is one object with video texture and the smoothness depend on the video frame rate.
