1. How do I rotate a sprite.
2. Are there layers for the sprites. (such as background layer, foreground layer) How do I use the layers. If there are any.
3. If I use animated gifs will the background still be transparent.
4. Can I change the transparency color?
5. How do I make a turret point to the cursor.
6. How do I make a sprite follow another sprite for a certain amount of time.
7. Is it possible to fade out a gif.
8. How would I make a sprite fade out gradually.

1) Rotate Sprite SpriteNum,RotateValue
2) Yes, the order in which you create them, like laying down cards
3) Yes, as long as you SET IMAGE COLORKEY to the correct color
4) SET IMAGE COLORKEY
5) There a whole tutorial that comes with DBP With this -_-
6) Set up a timer, while the timer is less than X, have one sprite do the same movements as the other
7) Yes, make it a sprite
8) Use a for next loop with Set Sprite Alpha

This is if you have DBP....

There are no layers, if you use sprites the sprites that are drawn first depends on the order they where created, or you can use SET SPRITE PRIORITY to change the order.

Dbpro can't load gif files.
4. Can I change the transparency color?
use set image colorkey or the best method is to use png files where dbpro will use the alpha data in the png file.
5. How do I make a turret point to the cursor.
Look up atanfull in the help.
